U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, Philippine Marines with Marine Battalion Landing Team 7, and Australian Army soldiers with 2nd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, conduct a Combined Joint Forcible Entry Operation as part of Exercise Alon in San Vicente, Philippines, Aug. 24, 2025. Exercise Alon is a bilateral amphibious training activity between the Australian Defence Force and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, supported by MRF-D and the Royal Canadian Navy. The exercise focuses on enhancing interoperability and readiness to respond to shared security challenges. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific. Burmese Chase 25
U.S. Marines with 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, and NATO allies executed training exercise Burmese Chase 25 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, throughout the months of July and August 2025. MCRD San Diego Golf Company Graduation - 8/29/25
The new Marines of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug 29th, 2025. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.
