Summary: Grand Opening event at CATC Camp Fuji premieres the Warrior Athlete Readiness Resilience (WARR) center. ntro: Drawing inspiration from professional athlete models and Division I, Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience (WARR) centers are popping-up on Marine Corps installations worldwide and staff at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji recently celebrated the grand opening of their very own WARR center. Announcer: “Welcome to today’s ceremony, commemorating the official grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Camp Fuji WARR center… Everyone ready? So one, two, three… The WARR program was developed to provide Marines with a training environment that mirrors the demands of combat. It also allows for modern strength and conditioning modalities modeled after professional and Division I athletic performance facilities. Derrick Martin, former N-F-L defensive back: “So I feel like the best way to be able to give back to the military and show them how I support [them] is by coming through, doing things like this, showing them how to workout and kind of boost morale.” Outro: Derrick Martin teamed up with another former N-F-L player, Emmanuel “Manny” Arceneaux and led several Marines exercises to help break-in the WARR new gear.
