Worth Jr., off-going Commanding General of 2d MARDIV, participate in the division change of command ceremony on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 14, 2024. During the ceremony, Maj. Gen. Calvert L. Worth Jr. relinquished command of 2d MARDIV to Maj. Gen. David L. MCRD San Diego Lima Company Graduation
The new Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 30, 2026. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.
