2025 Tournament of Roses Parade
The U.S. Marine Corps' West Coast Composite Band marches in the 136th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, Jan. 1, 2025. The Rose Parade, created to showcase the beauty of Pasadena, is part of an annual celebration, Tournament of Roses, that includes various floats, bands, dancers and equestrian units. Recruit Training Compilation
Recruits undergo13 weeks of training on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in order to earn the title United States Marine. Recruit training encompasses weapons mastery, basic swim qualification, gas chamber, and physical tests culminating in the crucible, a 54 hour physical and mental test recruits must complete in order to earn the title Marine.
