VMGR-152 Marines train during exercise Red-Flag Alaska
U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing take part in exercise Red-Flag Alaska 25-3 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, July 17 to Aug. 1, 2025. VMGR-152 partnered with the U.S. Air Force during Red Flag Alaska to enhance aerial refueling and assault support capabilities. U.S. Marines with the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, participate in the Darwin 9s Australian Football League tournament at Skyring Rugby Park, Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, Aug.9, 2025. The Darwin 9s is an annual event on the NT sporting calendar, with teams representing their indigenous and multicultural communities. MCRD San Diego Hotel Company Graduation - 8/08/25
The new Marines of Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug 8th, 2025. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.

Battle of Guadalcanal: 83rd anniversary of Operation Watchtower
Multinational service members, veterans, leaders of Solomon Islands’ government, members of the diplomatic community, and civilians, attend the 83rd Anniversary of the Battle of Guadalcanal Ceremony at the Guadalcanal American Memorial in Honiara, Solomon Islands, Aug. 7, 2025. The ceremony commemorated the 83rd anniversary of the battle, and served to honor the fallen and strengthen the U.S. relationship with the Solomon Islands and other Pacific allies and partners.
