During his visit, Lt. Gen. Glavy met with NWC President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin before giving his lecture on “The Information Warfighting Function” to NWC students, faculty, and staff. In his current role Lt. Gen. Glavy serves as the USMC liaison to Commander, USSTRATCOM, representing USMC capabilities and interests while advising on the proper support and employment of Marine forces. Established in 1884, NWC informs today’s decision-makers and educates tomorrow’s leaders by providing educational experiences and learning opportunities that develop their ability to anticipate and prepare strategically for the future, strengthen the foundations of peace, and create a decisive warfighting advantage.
